As a upright and electric bassist, Jesse has had the opportunity to play extensively in and around Chicago, at venues such as Orchestra Hall, Millennium Park, the Green Mill, the Athenaeum Theatre, the Chicago Cultural Center, and countless others. Performance credits include gigs with multiple Grammy winner Chance the Rapper, Grammy nominee Karrin Allyson, and many other musicians spanning a multitude of styles.

He has served on the faculty of the Music Institute of Chicago and is on the faculty of the Colorado Suzuki Institute, where he won the 2017 Bryan Hester Award given to an outstanding faculty member.  His articles have been published in the Journal of the International Society of Bassists.
