Mountain Time

Four educators brought together in the mountains of Colorado by a love of improvisation and wide-ranging musical styles, Mountain Time is a string quartet (violin, viola, cello, and double bass) that joyously leaps from genre to genre in true crossover style.

This eclectic string band has a multitude of influences that include jazz, classical, Latin, rock, funk, Celtic, bluegrass, and Appalachian fiddle music, drawing extensively from the American musical vernacular while infusing it with a distinct world music flavor.
